Immeasurable Equanimity
The melody of Immeasurable Equanimity was composed by Dudjom Jigdral Yeshe Dorje (1904-1987). This beautiful 80-plus minute meditative work is chanted by Gyatsen La Wisi, a Buddhist monk, who is accompanied by Ani Tsering Wangmo. Gyaling
A gyaling is an ancient shawm-like wind instrument in the orchestras of Tibetan monks. There are various ways of playing the instrument, depending on the lineage and ritual. The tradition used in this CD is from the very famous lineage of Mindroling. Gyalings played by Nyima Tashi and Dawa Tashi. Details
